This weekend, the BF & I celebrated our anniversary by relaxing & sipping cocktails at the beautiful Radisson roof-top pool. Because the only way we know how to celebrate is by gettin half nekkid & slammin back as much alcohol as we can......
I highly, highly, highly, reccomend it; especially if you cant swing a vacation right now. I normally cant stand public pools, but with the Radisson's high cover charge (Friday-Sunday $35/Monday-Thursday $25), the riff-raff is kept out and its much cleaner than most. Word of advice: get there early beause by 2pm there wasn't an available lounge chair in sight!
Its on the 5th floor, so it offers spectacular views of the city:
Because its a hotel, it offers pool-side food & drink service...which TOTALLY added to the relaxing vibe of actually being on vacation! The wait-staff were so friendly & accomodating. Naturally, we completely indulged:

We started with caesars: savoury & spicy..... |

......then I moved on to the sweetness of strawberry daquiris! |

Sliders....not bad but a bit over-cooked. |

Chicken burrito with sweet potato fries (they get major point for using Fleur de Sel on the fries) |

The pepperoni pizza was my fave.....sometimes simple & basic is best! |
I RELISHED the chance to use all my summery beachy swag:
1. A bright romper is the perfect swimsuit cover-up:
2. Pool-side essentials:
a) limited edition Louis Vuitton Ambre beach bag
b) spray on sun-screen
c) a best-selling book that you MUST read before Hollywood releases the movie version (
The Help by Kathryn Stockett)
3. A bright turquoise bikini (only $18 from Old Navy!)
