After many many months......dare I say years.......of searching, Ive finally found a maxi dress that works for me! If you're short & curvy (as I am) its extremely difficult to find a maxi dress that doesnt make you look like:
A) you're with child
B) it swallowed you whole
C) Jabba the Hut
D) some sort of un-Godly combination of all of the above

I think this particular maxi works because it isnt a full-out floor length one; it shows a little slice of ankle. SIDE NOTE: the length was also super convenient for going up & down stairs; no risk of tripping over the hemline. The consistent, bold (but still dark) print is quite lengthening....and the fact that I wrapped a skinny belt around the smallest part of my waist slimmed & elongated my entire silhouette. Ditto for the nude platform sandals.
