R.I.P. Jack Layton (1950-2011)

Im not even gonna pretend I know a lot about politics.  All I know is that Jack Layton seemed like a gentleman and a lot of what he said made sense.  I was born in Canada and have lived here my whole life, but I had never voted in an election on any level - partly because I didnt really care & partly because I didnt support any of the candidates.  But when Jack Layton ran for prime minister, I voted for the first time in my life.  Because I finally felt there was something worth voting for.

Just got this supergorge vintage dress - I especially love its fishtail hemline. Im COMPLETELY obsessed with fishtail hems, you know when a skirt or dress's hemline is shorter in front than it is in the back??  Theyre like a mullet in dress form..........

Can you believe I got this gem at Old Navy???  Only $44.95!!  It also comes in black, but I thought the army green was a little less "burqua-esque."  Buts its so comfy, unique & easy to wear - I may just have to get it in both colours........
